How does the Curb app work
There are two ways for customers to hail a cab: using the “Ride Now” option, users can enter their pickup and drop-off locations to get to their destination. Users are able to schedule a taxi up to 24 hours in advance using the “Ride Later” function.
How to use the Curb app
-
Sign up
Users must complete a sign-up process by verifying their phone number and payment method after downloading the app on iOS or Android.
-
Request a ride
Your preferred pickup time and date must be entered if you choose “Ride Later.” When you click “Ride Now,” a live map will open, asking you to add your pickup and drop-off locations. To get a nearby taxi after adding the addresses, click “Request Taxi.”
-
Pay through the app
To pay for your travel if you stop near a Curb cab on the street, utilize the app. Enter the seven-digit code from your cab’s backseat by tapping the “Pair & Pay” option (available in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, and Las Vegas) after you’re inside. The payment method linked to your app will be deducted from the cab charge. In most cities, Curb does not take cash payments.
